Former Editor-in-Chief Maria Rose was a member of the Newsstreak staff for 4 years. She enjoyed "working hard to produce something amazing, with a group of wonderful people, simply with the knowledge that we did [it] together." By participating in journalism, she hopes to write stories that make people feel something, and conduct interviews that change the world. In addition to being a part of the Newsstreak staff, she was a member of Cross Country, track, choir and forensics. She also enjoys photography, food, playing piano and mismatching her socks.
